Excerpt: Technical and logistical deep dive into an iPad 1-1 initiative.

Description: We will relate our experience of deploying 1400 ipads to a Middle School consisting of grades 5 – 8. We will cover our apple id creation process for students who are over and under 13 years old. We will also venture into the faculty Apple ID creation process. We will take a deep dive into the logistics of deploying the ipads to 1400 diverse students. Other topics that will be covered will include using Apple’s Caching Server, filtering considerations both on and off site, Wi-fi architecture, inventory and user logistics, and mobile device configuration. Time will be allotted at the end of the session to allow for questions and answers from the participants. The session will be facilitated by two individuals, with over 12 years of experience in one-to-one deployments in the K through 12 environment.
