Description: Are you a new Mac admin exploring options? Thinking about switching from another tool? Or maybe you just want to refresh some basic knowledge you already have? This session will teach the basic terminology and concepts around getting started with Munki. In it, we’ll cover the role and functionality of the munki server and tools, some basic configuration options for clients, common workflows with manifests and catalogs, how munki decides what needs to be installed, and how to populate your munki repo with software. No previous munki experience is required for this session – in fact, it is assumed you don’t have any!
