Add a sprinkle of AutoPkg, a dash of git, and viola – Cloud Munki!
This intermediate session assumes that attendees have some basic knowledge about how to use Munki, but does not require in-depth knowledge of git or programming.
Description: Want to depend less on your server room? Have a few branch offices to keep in sync? Consider moving your Munki infrastructure to the cloud!
We’ll cover how to move from a completely on-prem solution for one office to a cloud-based solution that treats the Munki repo as more than just a web server, allowing it to scale to multiple geographic locations and still be managed effectively by one team. By leveraging the power of continuous integration to take care of our dirty work, we are able to keep multiple offices in sync, reduce time spent caring for our system, and allow employees to roam between offices without missing a beat.
This intermediate session assumes that attendees have some basic knowledge about how to use Munki, but does not require in-depth knowledge of git or programming.
