Description: In this session we will discuss how our school district deployed 2,300 iPads in 3 days and 200 MacBook airs in 2 days using 0-Touch deployment with JAMF. This session will cover: budgeting, setup in JAMF Pro, deployment process, testing, and the lessons we learned. Deploying devices using 0-Touch will save your school/company time and money.


About the speakers

Philip Ayala (Twitter: @payala21) – Network Technician – Derry Township School District

Phil currently serves as a Network Technician. He has been with the District since 2013. Prior to his current position he was employed with Widener University and the University of Nevada.

Mr. Ayala is a 2004 graduate of Derry Township School District and earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2009. While attending school he worked in the University helpdesk working as a technician and later as the coordinator.


Andrew Maya (Twitter: @akmaya22) – Computer Technician – Derry Township School District

Andrew Maya currently serves as a Computer Technician. He has been in the IT field now for 8 years. Prior to his current position he was employed with the Lebanon School District as a Technology Associate. Mr. Maya earned his Associates Degree in Computer Network Systems. He is also Head Soccer Coach for both High School and Middle School Boys’ Teams here at Derry Township
