About the speakers

John Eberle (Twitter: @tuxudo) – –

A native of the Pittsburgh area and graduate of Penn State. Currently a Mac admin at a non-profit in the Pittsburgh area web apps, fixing hardware of all kinds, and supporting everything IT.

Louise Radifera (Twitter: @vazhalemur) – Manager Client Services & Support – CBS

Louise entered the world of geekdom after seeing her first tech movie where she watched HAL refuse to open the pod bay doors and then seeing the “old” Duotronic computers not only work, but provide answers by voice on starships on TV. She has been fascinated by computers ever since.
Louise started her career in IT by providing 1st level support. Since then, she has done almost every job and worked with almost every system within the operational world of IT, starting with System 6 and administering Novell servers & cc:mail to virtual windows box’s running publishing platforms and dabbling with VoIP systems. Louise accomplished all these feats while making sure the various systems played nice with her fleet of Macs across multiple industries, from advertising to publishing and now broadcastingalong the way, becoming a Jill of all trades.
Currently, Louise is responsible support for CBS interactive’s US east coast support and for starting the Women in Tech group at CBS.
