Description: In this session we will go over the basics of device compliance, registration, and troubleshooting with Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro for macOS. We will cover the components needed for compliance and how to set compliance policy, and then how to report on that compliance. Device registration is a process with a lot going on behind the scenes we will also break that down and explain the order of operations involved so you can better understand what goes into a device record for troubleshooting and so you know how to build great workflows for end users to follow.

Bryce Carlson – Senior Support Engineer – Jamf
Bryce is a Senior Support Engineer working on macOS and service integrations escalations at Jamf in Support. Before coming to Jamf in January of 2016 he was the Mac Admin and Manager of Housing IT at UW – Green Bay. He has been breaking and then fixing Macs ever since he got an iMac G4 in 2003.
Shonda Hodge – Sr. Support Engineer – Microsoft
Shonda Hodge is a Senior Support Engineer at Microsoft where she focuses on Microsoft Intune mobile device management solution. Shonda is known as the partner integration subject matter expert for Jamf, Saaswedo DatAlert, Sandblast, SEP Mobile, LookOut, and Cisco ISE. She’s also responsible for creating training modules, blog posts, workflows and knowledge base articles. Her latest post “Configuring Jamf Pro and Intune Integration” in the Microsoft Tech Community has garnered thousands of views.
Shonda has 20+ years professional experience in the I.T. Industry, including managing personnel, technical training, needs assessment, facilitation, ILT (Instructor Led Training) and e-Learning course development, performance metrics, program evaluation, and project management. Prior to Microsoft, Shonda worked in technical roles with Samsung, BlackBerry and American Airlines.
