This session will include a step-by-step setup of our VOD system and a discussion of what we’ve learned about network requirements, scaling, pitfalls to avoid,  the “fair-use doctrine” and video format optimization.

 Key Concepts:

Attendees will learn about optimizing video formats for AppleTV playback, DVD ripping, and some free video transcoding tools. They will also learn about PlexConnect, optimal AppleTV setup in the classroom, and basic video streaming fundamentals.
